X1 Office Administrator

Purpose of The Job:

Maintaining office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, coordinating filing systems, reviewing and approving client requisitions, as well as assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Coordinate and oversee all office activities
  • Implement and ensure adherence to relevant company procedures and policies
  • Handle phone calls and all related correspondence
  • Assist the Manager with different budgeting and bookkeeping activities
  • Co-ordinate procedures for retention, protection, retrieval and disposal of records.
  • Follow-up on outstanding payments and Purchase Orders (PO)
  • Ensure management is informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Competence Requirements:

  • Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Must have at least 2 years of work experience in Business Administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Must be able to work under pressure (meet target deadlines)
  • Must be self-motivated and presentable
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management will be an added advantage.

X1 Marketing Intern

Purpose of The Job:

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated marketing intern to join our growing marketing department. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in social media and content marketing, then we want to work with you. Your work will include preparing promotional presentations, monitoring social platforms, and conducting market analysis.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. The successful candidate should also have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Performing market analysis and research on the latest trends.
  • Assisting with daily administrative duties.
  • Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas.
  • Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Preparing detailed promotional presentations.
  • Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
  • Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Contributing to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Competence Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

X1 Plumber Intern

Purpose of The Job:

Perform preventive maintenance on fixtures such as repairing leaking faucets, replacing worn or bad fixtures, etc. Troubleshoot and maintain electronic circuit boards on fixtures.
Install and maintain pipes and fittings including assembling, cutting, threading, heating and pipe fitting repair and drainage systems.

Key Performance Areas:
Plumbers must be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Install pipes and plumbing fixtures
  • Visually inspect equipment and operate test equipment such as pressure and vacuum gauges to determine the cause and location of trouble
  • Clear obstructions from sink drains and toilets
  • Troubleshoot problems and decide how to fix them
  • Repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
  • Estimate costs of installations and repairs
  • Present recommendations and related pricing to customers
  • Plumbers must be capable of performing these tasks to ensure the proper functioning of properties' plumbing systems.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Competence Requirements:

  • Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent;
  • Must have at least 2 years of work experience as a plumber.
  • Must have the basic knowledge of all hand tools used in trade
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Must be able to work under pressure (meet target deadlines)
  • Must be Self-motivated
  • Driving license (Code B) will be an added advantage
